The Art and Science of Ballooning in New Mexico

Welcome young balloonists to this exciting collaboration between Explora and the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum! Spend the week exploring art, “envelopes,” weather science, and all things ballooning. Meet a local balloonist as we look into the local and international history of balloons. Experiment with buoyancy, lift, and more to determine your very best designs.

The Larry P Abraham Agri-Nature Center in Los Ranchos

This week long camp is a multi-age, collaborative camp experience, 9:00-2:00, $250 members/$275 non-members.

In-person classes will meet all CDC and CYFD guidelines, with small numbers of campers per classroom. All campers and staff must wear masks and pass a daily COVID-19 screening.
