What are Adult Nights?
Explora Adult Nights began in 2004 in response to requests from members and visitors who wanted to experience Explora in a whole new way: without the kids! Each adults-only evening features a unique theme with related activities—from performances and guest lectures, to art and science installations, to hands-on science experiments with surprising materials.

Celebrate the peak of summer at Explora's "Sowing Science" 18+ Adult Night, this July! Meet beekeeper Amy Owen for some sweet summer honey and jam out to cool Eco-beats from All Aboard Earth. Also featuring Big Brothers Big Sisters, Jericho Nursery, and The Albuquerque Astrological Society! Food from Three Sisters Kitchen and Kimo's Hawaiian BBQ available for purchase and enjoyment in the museum!
Participate in our propagation swap by bringing in some cuttings from your own plants or those that we provide as you listen to the musical stylings of Melissa Rios. Looking forward to seeing you at Sowing Science!

Explora's annual Science of Beer is back! Join us Friday, August 25th from 6:30-10:30 pm for exciting beer-themed activities, samples and cash bars, live music, food trucks, and all of Explora's hands-on exhibits at your fingertips. Delicious local brews from Marble, Steel Bender, Bosque, Southwest Grape and Grain, and cider patio with Tractor. VIP tickets include early entry at 6 pm and a commemorative beer glass to use for the night and take home.
