The Explora Calendar

Regular Hours:  Monday-Saturday: 10am – 6pm and Sunday: 12pm – 6pm
Explora is closed on January 1, July 4, the week after Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25.
Special Holiday Hours Sunday, December 24 & 31, 2017: 10am-2pm.

Toddler Time

Every Monday from 9am to 11am we have time just for toddlers and their adult companions. In addition to all of Explora’s exhibits, Monday mornings visitors can take part in special activities like Story Time and Music Jams.

Makerspace Open Hours

Every Monday from 3-5pm, drop in to our makerspace, Studio Inventivo, to work on your own project or work alongside Explora staff as they test new activities and technology!

12 Months of Math Activity

On the third Sunday of every month from 2-4pm, 12 Months of Math hosts a math activity at Explora.

PoP: Meet a Scientist!

Visitors of all ages are invited to meet scientists and engineers who are neighbors in the community. In Explora’s Portal to the Public (PoP) Meet a Scientist programs, visitors participate in materials-rich, engaging activities as they learn about the current research of Albuquerque-area scientists and engineers.
